Born and raised on the South Side of Milwaukee, Shontrail creates music shaped by isolation, late-night city life, underground culture, and self-reinvention. Pulling from dream pop, post-punk, shoegaze, alternative hip hop, and experimental indie music, his work blends distorted emotion with atmospheric worldbuilding.

Beginning his music journey in 2021, Shontrail approaches each release as more than a collection of songs — treating sound, visuals, live performance, and identity as part of the same evolving universe. Without a traditional musical background, he developed his style through instinct, experimentation, and persistence, building his creative voice from the ground up.
